Caesar's Lieutenant Caius Trebonius confronts and defeats Pompey's Lieutenant Lucius Domitius at Massilia where today is the city of Marseille France. Afterwards near Utica, in what is today Tunisia Africa, Caesar's Lieutenant Caius Curio confronts and is destroyed by Pompey's Lieutenant Publius Attius Varus and the Numidian King Juba.
